Introduction
License Agreement
Preamble:
Fodder Solutions International is a registered Hong Kong company with offices in Hong Kong, the USA and Australia.
Under the Terms and Conditions of this license, Fodder Solutions would license all of its intellectual property, business systems, manufacturing know-how and commercial expertise, to allow the licensee to exploit the technology and business systems for the maximum returns and business longevity.
There are several key areas that Fodder Solutions have developed that are listed out below.
- Fodder Solutions have been uniquely successful in their commercial applications of this technology and no competitors currently exist in the market place. There are companies that claim to have similar technology but with no established sales history.
- The business is always cash flow positive in that customers pay a deposit for their system prior to manufacturing. Full payment is received in advance of delivery, thus eliminating the risk of bad debts.
- Creditor payments for supplies are paid on either 30 or 60 day credit cycles, resulting in strong positive cash flows.
Intellectual property
Fodder Solutions hold several patents and patent applications. Along with this several key methods are retained from the public as trade secrets. These methods are the key to the successful commercialisation of the fodder solutions systems.
Technology overview
Fodder solutions designs, manufactures, markets and sells a unique range of hydroponic livestock feed growing systems. These developed systems range in daily pproduction varying from 80lbs to 8500 lbs of production per day.
The system is a hydroponic growing room that has been specifically developed to sprout grain and legume seeds, for highly nutritious, yet cost effective livestock feed. A selection of grains and legume seeds are spread onto the specialized growing trays and are watered at pre-determined intervals with overhead sprays. A set temperature is maintained inside the growing chamber, to ensure the best growth and highest nutritional value fodder possible.
Each day you simply slide the feed out of the trays, rinse the tray, reseed and push the newly seeded tray into the other end of the system. The System holds enough trays to ensure you produce your desired and nominated amount of feed everyday.
The sprouts grow on the Fodder Solutions specially designed sprouting trays with no growing medium. Feed-quality barley germinates within 24 hours of seeding. The barley grows in the same tray for 6-days and is ready for harvest at a 12inch high grass mat. Generally it takes six days to grow from seeding to feed out!
The “sprout mat” is completely edible and highly nutritious as it is a living food. The animals will eat the entire mat, roots and green growth, so there is no waste.
Fodder solutions manufacture systems in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, England and China. Systems are exported from these locations to other countries all over the world.
Research and development
Fodder Solutions continue to refine their current range of systems to ensure the best commercialization of current technology used. This coupled with ongoing animal nutrition trials, ensures that Fodder Solutions remains the current world leader in hydroponic fodder growing technology.
Fodder solutions are currently building further prototypes to expand the product range to ensure market demand is met.
Administration
Fodder Solutions have developed a range of administrations systems that cover the entire Fodder Solutions process, from the initial ordering of materials, right through to customer feedback once a system is delivered into the field.
Administration systems cover the ordering of materials for fabrication, ordering of seed for the systems, transport booking procedures and many other administration systems.
As Fodder Solutions prides itself on exceptional customer service, we use a unique production tracking process on each customers system. When a client places an order they are given a target delivery date of their system. The client is then able to phone head office to enquire on the development stage of their system in the fabrication process. The client is then advised of the exact position of their system in the fabrication process.
Fodder Solutions also provide growing and installation instructions in printed form as well as a DVD. This, together with a checklist that the client completes and returns to head office before transport, is then booked for the system to ensure that every delivery runs as smoothly as possible. Instillation is carried out in less than two hours.
Manufacturing
Fodder solutions over many years have developed a lean manufacturing process, purchasing quality materials at the lowest prices and manufacturing the resources into a high quality, high value-growing chamber. Over several years of manufacturing, Fodder Solutions have implemented many design changes to save on labor and materials while improving the growing systems quality and longevity.
Under a manufacturing license the following processes are made available for implementation:
- technical drawings
- fabrication instructions
- an ergonomic factory layout for labor saving
Fodder solutions also use testing and packaging procedures to ensure systems can be shipped vast distances and arrive in perfect condition for installation.
Marketing
Fodder Solutions have researched various media and marketing methods, resulting in a specific marketing method that is tried and proven to generate sales enquiries. By targeting specific agricultural industries, in various forms of media in a specific way, Fodder Solutions ensures that the ‘return on investment’ on marketing is always achieved.
Sales
Fodder Solutions have a set sales process that can be adopted by any person with basic communication skills. This process, which has taken many years of research, ensures that the majority of leads that are generated from Fodder Solutions marketing are converted into successful sales.
Animal nutrition
Fodder Solutions can be implemented in any location. This program can be used in extreme temperatures and used on a variety of water supplies. These systems can also be organically certified.
Equine Fodder Solutions have conducted live equine nutrition trials at one of Australia’s top agricultural universities. The trails were used to compile credible data on the fodder and its effects on equine nutrition. This data, combined with client feed-back from hundreds of fodder systems in the field (feeding thousands of horses everyday), has allowed Fodder Solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for equine owners.
Beef Cattle Fodder Solutions have conducted several private weight-gain trials to compile credible data on feeding beef cattle. This data, combined with client feed back from hundreds of fodder systems in the field (feeding thousands of cattle everyday), has allowed Fodder Solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for beef cattle owners.
Dairy Cattle Fodder Solutions have sound data on feeding dairy cattle. The results are very successful, but due to declining milk prices over the last several years the dairy industry has not been Fodder Solution’s primary focus. As milk prices are starting rise again, Fodder Solutions will begin to target the dairy industry.
Goats, Dairy and meat Fodder Solutions have conducted several private weight-gain trials to compile credible data on feeding goats. This data, combined with client feed back from fodder systems in the field, feeding meat and dairy goats, has allowed fodder solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for goat owners.
Sheep Fodder solutions have conducted several private weight-gain trials to compile credible data on feeding sheep. This data, combined with client feed back from fodder systems in the field feeding sheep, has allowed Fodder Solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for sheep owners.
Chickens Data combined with client feed back from fodder systems in the field feeding chickens, has allowed Fodder Solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for chicken owners.
Rabbits, meat Nutritional data, combined with client feed back from fodder systems in the field feeding rabbits, has allowed Fodder Solutions to tailor successful feeding programs for rabbit owners.
